What A Creep!

This is a tale of woe that for lack of a better name I will call Cindy's Bogus Dating Adventure. As you may have guessed already, I am Cindy.
When this story unfolded, I was working as a clerk in a 7-11 store just outside of Boston. Not to sound conceited, but men have always hit on me a lot, so I am sort of used to it in a way. This particular guy seemed really nice, and had been working on me for months before I finally relented. We had actually met online just before I started working at the variety store. I was always cautious so I decided to meet him in a very public place instead of riding alone with him anywhere. We met at a restaurant, and since it was a nice night, we opted to eat outside. Here is where he got a little odd…. first he gives me a a little box of chocolates the brand name was Cindy (my name is Cindy so I thought at first that it was a cute gesture) then he asks me to eat one or two in a strange creepy way. When we finished the hors d'oeuvres he started to ply me with chocolates. Making a game of it by getting me to eat it looking as sexy as I could. I was feeling a bit light headed, and put that down to the wine we were drinking, but was confused because I had only had a sip or two. At the point that we started to eat our entrees, he started to stare at me really closely. It was almost creepy, but for some reason, I was not overly alarmed.
The wine he chose was very tasty and smooth. I am not a huge wine drinker, but I thought that I could get to love that particular label. I did notice though, that as we kept dining, that the wine seemed to be not tasting as good. I figured that was because I had eaten so many sweet chocolates.
I was part way through the main course when the entire situation started to weird me out. I made my excuses and went to the washroom to call a good friend of mine to explain the situation. I was worried that maybe I was blowing this all out of proportion. My friend thought it was hilarious and told me just to be careful and not go anywhere alone with him, but to get a free meal out of the deal. So assured, I went back to my seat, at which point he resumes the chocolate game again. I was young and naive so I just went with it, at this point it was kind of funny. Since I had never been in a similar situation before, I just wrote it all off to 'gaining experiences for the next time' and keep being nice.
Feeling a bit uncomfortable, I sort of gulped my wine. As soon as the wine entered my mouth I could tell something was wrong. It was awful! I casually put it down as if I had noticed nothing. It was obvious to me that he had put something in my wine. Suddenly I was scared! I needed to figure out what to do, but I needed time to put a plan together. So I sat there as if nothing was wrong, and even pretended that I was sipping my wine. After about a half hour of stalling and making small talk, I laughingly told him that the wine must be getting to me because I had to go to the washroom again.
I needed to get out of there pronto! So I had a busboy locate our waiter and bring him over. I told him what was up and asked him to help. He had a busboy take me out the back way to my car. At the same time, my waiter went back to talk to my date about ordering desert and coffee. I quickly hauled my butt to my friends house. Luckily she only lived a few blocks away because by the time I got there I was ready to pass out. I managed to convince my friend that I did not need to go to the hospital. So we spent some time listening to music and I fell asleep. I woke up a little hung over, and it was not from the small amounts of wine I had consumed the night before. With a clearer head, it became apparent to me that the scumbag had likely laced my wine and likely the chocolates with some sort of drug. I realized that I had had a close call and was lucky to get out of it unscathed.
Looking back on it, I regretted not calling the police from the restaurant to keep this freak from doing the same thing to another innocent girl, but I was young and  foolish and didn’t think about that. In the state of mind I was in, it was all I could do to focus on getting out with my skin intact.  I explained my problem to the mall security guards, and they were really good about it. For a few months, they kept a lookout for him and escorted me out to my vehicle when I worked late. To my intense relief, I never saw hide nor hair of him again.
It dawned on me a while later how it was that he found me. I had put my work address on my dating site profile. What an idiot I was! I deleted my profile for a couple of months and then signed up with a new handle. That night could have been so much more nasty than it was. I thank my lucky stars that I had a mother who loved me. One who nagged me stupid about the perverts out there and what sorts of care I should take when going on dates.

Black Dating

The Internet is now the engine that drives freedom of expression to the entire world. There are at least two faces to this freedom however. The first is that the platform is a perfect soap box for fanatics and hate mongers. Fortunately there are also no barriers when it comes to positive portrayals of sex, race or creed.
This is most evident on the various online dating sites that have popped up all over the Internet. Most dating sites embrace all facets of sexual choice, gender, creed, spoken language and race, and there are many niche sites that support subsets of these combination's. The Internet Dating Sites fully embrace these freedoms which have been championed by the internet since its inception.
Dating online is not just for a single race, black people will often employ the Internet to establish connections with potential mates. The best thing about the Internet is that it is totally cool with the types of relationships that were much less tolerated for so many years. The Internet tends to promote a laissez faire attitude when it comes to mixed relationships, whether it be mixed race, mixed religion, mixed ethnicity, or any possible combination of these things.
Finding a single black man or single black woman online is not that hard, as long as you know what sites meet your criteria. Here are a few tips on how to find single black men and black women online.
There are so many social networking sites theses days, almost everyone is connected to everyone else in some way. There’s a good chance that some of your friends have a friend that knows someone who’s black and single. You can also check profiles on some of these social websites. Many social sites allow you to publish a personal profile with the objective of finding someone of similar interests. Black singles and people interested in meeting black singles can post their profiles for other people to view. These more general purpose social sites will often have an area for personals type ads that match single black adults with others from around the world. Sites like craigs list or kijiiji where such postings are a sideline of their core business are examples of this class of site.
Probably the easiest way to meet other black singles would be to sign up to a black online dating service. There are dozens of them on the web. It might be prudent for you to know what you want when zeroing in on the black dating site that you are seeking.
The Internet is a place where everybody can find somebody, whether it is for finding old friends or making new friendships will likely be the best tool for you. People from all walks of life employ the internet daily. During each minute of the day there are hundreds of black singles online seeking for other black singles to chat with. Use your favorite search engine to look for black dating sites, you might be surprised to see how many of these dating sites let you see photos of people and let you actually chat with them right then and there, so what have you got to lose.
Remember that black singles do not need to use special purpose black dating sites to get action, there are several online dating sites that offer interracial dating, so it is possible for you to meet another black single, Caucasian single, or Asian single almost right away. At the same time there are people all over the world looking to meet someone just like you, so you could be connected with someone from the other side of the globe if you are ready to make the arrangements to meet them in person.
Nobody should be all alone, there are so many helpful ways of getting to know people these days there is no reason to be alone. There is nothing pathetic in seeking a partner online, at least you will have an idea what the person is like before you get involved, and if you are not happy with what you see then you can block this person so you don't hear from them or talk to them again. The anonymity of online dating sites is their true strength. It offers a level of security that meeting in bars can never begin to approach. How could anybody give you grief if they do not even know who you really are or where you actually live.
So all you love starved singles out there, get online and check out some of the online dating sites and black dating sites, you will only gain from the experience. Wouldn’t it be great to vacation with someone new in your life. For your convenience, the following link will take you to the best dating sites on the Internet.
